Digital Assistant, Advertising Operations

As a Digital Assistant in the Advertising Operations department, you will be responsible for facilitating the implementation of digital campaigns.  Specific duties include creating, trafficking, monitoring, and troubleshooting digital advertising campaigns across a portfolio of platforms, including but not limited to: Sizmek ad server, Google AdWords, Yahoo!|Bing, and Facebook Business Manager.

The ideal candidate will have an active interest in the digital advertising landscape, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to learn from real-time analytics.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the planning team to review campaign objectives and ensure campaigns are implemented accurately and timely
  • Retrieve client assets and certify all creatives fall within site specs
  • Work with the reporting team in monitoring digital campaigns to ensure delivery as well as offer suggestions for optimizations
  • Troubleshoot ad serving errors and report discrepancies
  • Serve as a point of contact for publishers for all technical issues

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience using Google Tag Manager and data management platforms a plus
  • Should be a self-starter; able to work with minimal supervision to initiate, troubleshoot, and complete tasks
  • Effective time management skills with an ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Entry level position – 0 -1+ years digital media and or ad operations experience preferred

 

Digital Assistant, Reporting

As a Digital Assistant in the Reporting department, you will work closely with our reporting, ad operations, and planning teams to help ensure efficient, accurate, and reliable reporting for all assigned digital campaigns, encompassing display, email, social, SEM, and video. You will be responsible for compiling and analyzing performance reports for digital campaigns complete with insights and recommendations to optimize campaign performance based on key performance indicators, including but not limited to: impressions, clicks, CTR, conversions, cost per click, and website activity.

The ideal candidate will have an active interest in advertising, advanced Excel skills, and an analytical mindset.

Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Google AdWords, Google Analytics, and Facebook Business Manager
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to present data findings (both orally and in writing) in a clear and meaningful format
  • Strong understanding of digital media, marketing, and web metrics preferred
  • Experience manipulating multiple data sets a plus
  • Experience with third-party tracking and reporting tools (Sizmek, Atlas) a big plus

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Entry level position – 0 – 2 years of experience analyzing and optimizing digital advertising campaigns preferred

 

 

Senior Analytics Strategist

MayoSeitz Media is looking for a Senior Analytics Strategist who has the ability to dissect and analyze large media and marketing datasets while producing actionable insights for internal teams and clients. As part of the Analytics team, you will be responsible for identifying issues and opportunities hidden in the data and making recommendations on advertising strategy and tactics. Communication skills and teamwork are key to the position as you will interact with internal teams and external clients to ensure the analytical results deliver to business objectives. We’re looking for someone who knows their numbers and how to find the critical story within them.  Experience in applying that skill in the Marketing/Media field is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Using statistical data analysis, advise internal planning and buying teams on ways to improve media performance and increase ROI for current clients.
  • Provide advanced statistical, forecasting, and unique algorithmic solutions to data analysis challenges across different client categories.
  • Work with visualization tools to be able to effectively present complex data in a non-technical way. Develop and design compelling client-facing stories/case studies that simplify advanced concepts in graphical format.
  • Analyze trends across various accounts and categories to help build predictive models.
  • Frequently interact with account teams to obtain or relate information and ideas.
  • Works independently without need for detailed guidance and plans work schedules to meet goals.
  • Performs a wide range of variable tasks as dictated by changing demands and conditions. Ability to multi-task.

Qualifications Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher required from a college or university. Three to five years’ of experience in qualitative and quantitative research designs and data collection methods required.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Basic knowledge of databases, querying large datasets or writing SQL statements
  • Experience working with multiple data and analytics tools including Tableau, Microsoft Excel, Python and R, Google Analytics, DSPs and DMPs

Broadcast Assistant

 An entry-level position that assists the broadcast group with various tasks all within the discipline of radio & television media buying.   Responsibilities for the day-to-day maintenance within the buying group which includes some of the following:

Stewardship:

Assist buyers with all planning and buying responsibilities including: calling for rates, pulling demographic rankers, inputting buys into Strata, sending schedules to stations, confirming orders/changes, checking and clearing invoices, etc.  Participate in the construction of related analyses by pulling various reports.  Help track the performance and spending of all buys.  Resolve billing discrepancies.  Clear invoices and help with the reconciliation process and reach out to stations for pre/post-log times & input them into excel.

Negotiation Support:

  • Assist buyers with research prior to the buy.
  • Begin development of negotiation skills.
  • Develop media knowledge base in preparation for media responsibilities.
  • Attend internal and external meetings and presentations.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends through advertising and media trade journals.

Additional skills:

Must be computer literate and able to use Excel, Word, PowerPoint.  Should be detail oriented, meticulous and a team player, articulate and organized.  The right candidate should be outgoing with great phone and email skills, and thrive in a fast paced, constantly evolving environment.
